Could anyone help with the following?

What have the monarchs Stephen, john, Anne and victoria got in common?

What links chisel, set square, table and triangle?

I'm sure the answers are obvious but I've looked at the questions for so long I think I'm going mad!
Any help would be very gratefully recieved. Thanks.

I would guess that they were the only examples of each name (i.e. there was no Stephen II etc).

Chisel, set square table and triangle are all constellations (though table is usually table mountain)? Nearest I can find!

I think that they're symbols of the Freemasons.

You may be right about the articles all being Masonic(not being"on the square"myself.
But where is the Royal connection? Not all of them were in the craft.

I don't really know, Joker -- it's just a suggestion, but the Duke of Kent is the Grand Master.

Could it possibly be that all the items could loosely be described as different forms of RULERS?
Just the thought of a demented mind!

A chisel as a ruler? I bet you use a hammer as a screwdriver ;)
