1 dn, 20dn and 3 dn:3 words-5 letters, 3 letters and 3 letters. clue:" where he'd use a net tangled round the top of a rock". i thought "under the sea" but it doesn't satisfy me. also, it doesn't gel with 9 across the "lay" of "lay on". don't you think this clue is a bit obscure?

If 9a was PUT ON, would that fit?
