And congrats on your Thomas Beecham.
He gets a passing appearance in Quartet. The retired musicians are living in residential home called Beechams named after sir T.
Maggie Smith remarks that his father made a fortune selling laxatives.
It is one of the best British "gentle" films Iv ver seen Have watched it 7 times So Far.
Also 4 weddings, Room with a view, Howards End!!!!
Hardly Catholic tastes but certainly Apostolic!
Hope youre well and enjoying this pressage of SPRING?
Cant be summer!! Charles 11 said summer was 3 warm days and a thundefstorm.

Did you parse your clue?

I saw Quartet - very gentle, as you say. Maggie Smith was correct - he was "independently rich". There are lots of Beecham quotes (most probably apocryphal). He was once asked if he had ever conducted any Stockhausen. "No" he said, "but I once trod in some".
