Finding this tough GK...have been looking at the same five clues in the top left for the entire day off and on...not ready for hints just yet though...

I'm glad it's not just me, Ixion.
This is my first attempt at the Genius. So far I have 5 non-themed answers and my brain has ground to a halt.

Will push on though, may be back for help.

ixion - they were the same 5 i was stuck on yesterday - once you get one of them the rest will soon follow!

Me too! Thought it was going well then the top left corner stumped me. I'll have another go later today before I give up.

Still 12A and 2D to go....have a possible answer for 12A but 2D proving particularly tricky....

read the postings-----the clues- 17 of 29 are themed.
my problem is working which 12 are cryptic.
maybe 29a? (If my cockney is correct) or 6d (If it is not partnered with a cigarette maker)?
a few little hints would help to get me going
