12 d Hag embroiders fantastically (10)
4 ac Swimmer in small lake,we hear,returning unwell (8)
23 ac Swelling in adult leaving son with shock (6)
30 ac GF"s token split wanting first and final approval(10)

For 12d I have Besomrider which is an anagram of embroiders - how I saw it I have no idea. All the others I am also still missing

Right. 4 is SMEARDAB - S + MEAR + BAD backwards.
23 is STRUMA - S for Son + TRAUMA less the A
30 is LOVE-FAVOUR CLOVE for Split wanting C + Favour.
