Stuck on last two, 5A and 5D.
5A: Project by kid describing knight's battle in the main(7). Have --T-A-D. Possibly Outward, but if so how does it parse?
5D: Scrap ancient fencing our side dismissed(3). Have --T, but if 5A is correct, then have O-T. Possibly Ort, but if so how parsed?

5a Jutland (Sea Battle)

Project - Jut
Kid - Lad
Knight - N (in chess notation)

5d Jot ( a scrap/small amount)

Joust (ancient fencing) Minus S (side)
