(shame!) but they can get me a second-hand copy (hurray) !

Good for you, magworth! I inherited mine from my brother .
It's useful because it orders words by length, tho' only up to 10 letters. It also gives (as here) words that can belong before or after the word given! have fun!
I Wonder btw why it went out of print: i don't know any other reference book of the kind. Pity I couldn't rescue all the others he left behind: his flat was full of puzzle wins!

GK - I have this dictionary - I bought through the Readers Digest many years ago. I have found the reference to Pocket Square etc on page 805
