Is it 'Fire' = SACK around M, only I can't find anywhere that gives M as as abbreviation for Mobile - or is there more to it?

M, as a small m, is given in Chambers, for 'mobile'. It says this is especially in reference to services delivered to mobile phones, as in m-banking and m-ticket.
