Can anyone parse "latrine" as answer to this clue:
"Sailor's rung with confused directions for convenience " 7 letters, ?ATR?N?
The last bit is obvious, but is the anag. of "tar" the sailor? If so, how come confused directions? Why "rung" (in any sense)?
