11a. "Skid" marks (8,6) - INVERTED COMMAS

I can see there are inverted commas in the clue, but is there any relevance to the word 'Skid'?

3d. Cloth's cut in this outbuilding (5,4) - TITHE BARN (Outbuilding)

16d. Fine - wrong clue (9) - MINISCULE (Fine)

CLUE is 'wrong' (Cule) at the end of the word, but why 'MINIS'?

24d. In the Midlands she drove most of the way (3) - HER
