29 Bennet - name. It's B for book and NN (name, recurring) and eet from 'teens', three of the five letters).

31 I think your 'a' is wrong - Freene, old word for friend, 'chum'.

I had retina for the answer.My Chambers doesn't have the word Freene but could it possibly be spelled as Freene/Fraene

20 Ratine - anagram of 'tear in'. It's a fabric, cloth.
