Hi, 29a Pizza from LA area (7)

I have c-l-o-e and the only word I can find to fill in the gaps is callose. I get the cal connection with LA area but cannot for the life of me work out any connection with pizza (I could eat one right now!) so can you enlighten me. It's also possible I've made a booboo on another clue somewhere.

Help appreciated with the exact parsing for these....

14a. King, a tyrant, with no love for student (7) - LEARNER (Student)

16a. Winemaker's pet drink in Champagne? (7) - CHATEAU

25d. Notice youngster's lifting cloth (7) - BUCKRAM (Cloth) - I thought 'Youngster' could be 'BUCK', but that leaves 'RAM' for 'Notice' so I'm not sure.

14. The King is Lear, the 'tyrant' is Nero - 'with no love' means to drop the 'o', so Ner . Lear +Ner, learner, student.

25 D. It's Mark (notice) Cub (youngster), reversed ('lifting'). so Buc kram.
