A bit of a whatsaname this week! Can anyone help with these two, please?
KICK AND IS KICKED BY HORSE? ABOUT TIME!
It's three words and I have:-
G-T -H-- -- (3,4,2)

TRAMP OVER FINE PILE OF LEAVES.
-U-- (one word of 4 letters)

They'll probably be obvious to me if anyone knows but there's always the odd crossword which gets one scratching one's head!

BUMF

The first is "get shot of" - gets hoof, around T.
And the second is "bumf" tramp - bum, and f. And Chambers gives bumf as a pile of papers, etc.

Many thanks to the Joker and AJT! I don't think I'd have ever got that "bumf" one because in my head I always imagined that "bumf" was spelt "bumph". Sometimes I think my head contains too much bumph!!
