CLUELESS 189
Welcome to Clueless, our informal weekly clue-setting competition.

The idea is to compose a cryptic clue to a given word or phrase.

The winner of the previous week’s competition both sets the word to be clued and judges the entries for the current week.

The judge’s decision is final; reasons may or may not be given at the judge’s discretion. It is customary for the judge to donate a virtual prize to the winner.

To be fair to others, please do not make any comments on entries until after the winner has been declared.

Multiple entries may be submitted and new competitors are particularly welcome!
This week’s word is:

RESERVED (8)

Clues to be submitted by 1800 GMT tomorrow (19th November) with the winner being announced soon after.
Please could everyone parse their clues for me as this is my first time doing this competition. Thank you

Good luck everyone!

Sorry, bob's mum,I've only just noticed you wanted each clue parsed. Mine at #2 simply plays on 2 meanings of your word: held back (e.g. judgment) & re-served (as a meal). OK?

Sorry bobs mum - parsing for @6

"off" anagram indicator for "reds veer"; "kept back" is the definition.

My parsing for @5 transposed is reversed, transpose(swap) the 3rd and 6th letters and get reserved which means booked. Apologies for not reading the request.
