One I'm not convinced about the parsing.

It must be IMPACT, but I'm not happy about ACT = ROUTINE, or IMPACT = INFLUENCE (though the latter is a bit closer).

Yes - act as a (stage) routine, impact defined in Chambers as influence

Although I have an answer for 12a (something which holds up stockings !) I am having trouble parsing.
There is only one "U" so it cannot contain both "blue" and "under". I see the writer (pen) and time (t). Feeling thick....

Is that the full clue?

"under" was part of the definition. All finished now. I really need lunch ;) Here is the grid.
