6D: Pans arriving at last minute on board (6)
Answer is S LATE S
SS = on board
'LATE' presumably meaning "at the last minute"...but would query that ' at the last minute' really means' just in time' rather than late?
Not happy with this what doe any one else think?

Hi elle, late here as in "they scored with a late goal" close to the end of the allotted time period rather than overdue.

Hi, ginge - umm, still means "just in time" though, even with the goal! Still think it's poor!

Perhaps a better example would be "he left it late to. .."
