This is a jigsaw xword puzzle so no proper clue numbers, but we know they are in alphabetical order

1.This could stop current dance having waltz, see instead of Sarabande at first (9, two words) - think it starts with A / B

2. Groom losing first horses's covering (7)
3. Old liberal replacing male in women's clothes in America (7)

2 and 3 must start with T/U/V/W/Y
