My first time using this Forum. Think I have finished but struggling with how answers fit the clues to 18 - answer, I think, T.....L(7) and 55, answer I think, B.......G (9). Any help, please.

Alansp: welcome to the forum. No.55 - yes, i agree B-------G (think Australia) but not 100% sure of No.18. My answer begins with T and ends in E. However i am not very good at solving clues so suggest you wait to see what others come up with. Good luck!

You are welcome alansp although for No.18 i do have two possible words beginning with T and ending in E, so not 100% sure!

55. The answer fits perfectly. You have the name of a man, you have a short way of suggesting a smell, you have initials for No Good and the whole answer means a cut off loop of river. What didn't fit for you?

Hi Haeremai18 - my answer has a "dd" in it, does this help?

Hi Alansp. One of my answers had DD in it but the other one i think is more correct as it is an anagram of AIR and another word for WALK = ungainly walk!

T for temperature plus the "dd" word for ungainly walk fit exactly the definition of hot air.

Could be one or other! What does anyone else think?????
