One left - a short one, or course.

7a Transfer a larger amount without being trained (5)

?E?A?

I think it must be "relay", but I can't see the parsing - any suggestions?

Thanks all.

Obviously correct, but the definition is a bit loose, isn't it?

It was the hidden answer that didn't seem to be indicated ( amount?)
I was happy with the definition.

It is usually applied to ex-domesticated animals that have returned to the wild - e.g. feral cats and dogs. One could argue that domesticated cats aren't trained either! (Dogs have owners, whereas cats have staff.)

Yes indeed Chris!
The COD gives, almost exactly, your def of 'feral'.
Chambers doesn't give it at all under 'feral' but under feralised/feralized = run widl after domestication
