I have received an email asking if there are any rules regarding crossword relevance on the Forum. The user finds it frustrating to open a thread to find that it has nothing to do with crosswwords.

I know you like to chat about other things, this is a friendly Forum and I have no intention of asking you to stop. Therefore -

COULD I ASK THAT YOU TYPE (NON CROSSWORD RELATED) AS PART OF THE SUBJECT

This will ensure that users know to avoid these threads if they don't wish to take part in chit chat. Many thanks.

Thanks, Norah, that sounds a good idea - I've been caught out once or twice, going on to posts that turned out to be nothing to do with crosswords.
