I would like some help again for two more clues as long as the othere ones I have are right!!

1) Wander from the path to remain around river

? ? D ? Y

2) Man's highest point
8 letters
? N ? E ? E ? ?

Thnak you in advance and have a good evening and hopefully this will open things up for me to finish the rest of the crossword unaided!! Nearly 3/4 done

I'm sure the D is wrong in the first, and the N may be wrong in the second.

Snaefell is the highest point on the Isle of Man?

As Chrise points out, stay - remain- around r - river - gives stray - wander?

Of course, AB - I was thinking of "Everest", a man and a mountain!

Perhaps we should highlight this one for andyc?
