The clue is "Call for a replay" and it's 6 letters. It's
the last one I need and the letters I have are:-
-N-R-E. As far as I am aware, all the letters I already
have should be ticketyboo!

I don't think the R is correct.

Hi there Chris - The "R" comes from "HEARING", for
which the clue is "They take place in order to check
cross-examinations". There was a SLIGHT doubt that
this might be incorrect, but I couldn't think of anything better!

I should add that that is PLIRAL and was answered as
"HEARINGS".

OK, I think the one you asked about is ENCORE - what does that give you for the other one?

That'll make the 8-letter word across, which I answered as "HEARINGS" obviously incorrect, and that will now pan out as -E-O-N S.
