47 across- combining form which indicates stomach or belly. G?s?e?o. I think the letters are correct but the g may be wrong as I've answered 41 dn as grog shop for retail establishment selling liquor (Australian slang) - ?r???shop.

That is the most logical but 33 down is definitely mother Teresa and 39 down must be langouste for spiny lobster. Have the Sunday Times cocked it up again

chrise. Thank you so much, must have something wrong, have 'auriela' for a common jellyfish that gave me the 'e' instead of 'L'. Need a rethink but thanks again.

it's 'AURELIA' so the 'L' would be in the right place
