Members of this site might enjoy the challenge of the Summer Cryptic Quiz Fundraiser for MIND - The Mental Health Charity
It consists of the names of 100 prominent women defined by cryptic crossword-style clues and is available from http://www.justgiving.com/MIND-Quiz1

There will be a prize of a £50 JohnLewis voucher for the first correct entry drawn at random after the closing date of 30th September. If more than £1100 is raised there will be a £30 second prize voucher.

The usual no-asking rule applies

Yes, it has been great to see the backing this quiz has received - I was thrilled in particular to see a mention from Mary Beard a real hero of mine.


And still the total rises.

We are now just £60 short of the £1500 target. When that is reached the prizes will increase again - to £100 for first & £50 for second.
