Help with 52A - using the same procedure repeatedly r-c-r-i-e. That is if 'sterness' is right for 41D. Thanks for any help

Sorry to be pedantic but this has been covered in several threads today. The correct answer is RECURSION, which is a noun. RECURSIVE is an adjective and qualifies the process; it is not a definition of the process itself. Of course, as I said in another thread, the crossword compiler may not be a mathematician but he should know the difference between a noun and an adjective.

AJT Thanks now the crossword is complete.
John (Arran) the answer has to be recursive because the whole crossword fits around this. PS I love the island you live on!
