Finished except for 4 answers I'm just not seeing - stared at them for too long and can't see where I've gone wrong with the clashes.
Note these may be normal clues or have a misprint or omission from the definition.
3d Fairly defaced tree and Irish lake (6) ENE?G?
19a Takes ends of the road once (5) ??STE
10a What things English stake (3) ??O
7d Clashing in Annual General Meeting adopting measure (6) A??EI?
Any hints appreciated.

3d - your second "e" should be "o". Definition is fairly.
10a - misprint - things becomes thinks.
7d - misprint - clashing becomes flashing.
Still have not worked out the reason for 19 across but there can b eonly one possible answer once you have the first letter.

In 16a I'd thought pony = tit rather than tat according to Chambers.
Tat makes it work
