can I suggest that the opposites clue might just be ATTRACTION as in OPPOSITES ATTRACT. See if that helps.

I think attraction would be a better word than flirtation - then wouldn't that give you scribal?

Could it be Sar(it)ah? .... although I'm not too sure about IT = A COPY!
