Do you have some letters wrong?

I think the first one is 'incrust' and the second one is 'carefree".

you are right about carefree. I must have one other clue wrong. I don't understnd why incrust is the solution to the other one but it will fit.

The wordplay is:

incrust is cru (vineyard) inside inst (this month)
carefree is car free (pedestrian precinct) around (fiv)e

Yes, INCRUST & CAREFREE are the answers I got.

The first one is CRU (a vineyard) in INST (this month).

I realised carefree was right when I read the first response but although Incrust fitted (I started my entry with capital i which looks like l on this forum) I just didn't understand why it was right. Now I know. Cru and inst are new to me. I have learned. Many thanks.
