Can not remember the date - had cut xword out cos could not work out the following clue and it bugged me! -
"Bullfighter makes a little cut on the flanks" (7) - Have got MATADOR which fits but why?
Have just started new job so have had no time to seek help from all you clever people! Cheers!

What definite letters do you have?
I was wondering if it could be 'picador' as the definition of that is one who "pricks the bull with a lance early in the bullfight....."

or; 'a tad' would be 'a little'
or just tad = little

Jolan suggested the tad part so... MA from "makes a" TAD - "a little" and OR from "the flanks" - on rear??? Has to be MATADOR cos I got the M?T?D?R. Agree?? Thanx
