The answer is a place where people meet. No word length. May be more than one word: clue is "move at high speed to a cuppa steer car". I thought 'beetle drive' but cannot reconcile the 'to a cuppa' bit. Any ideas anyone?

move at high speed: beetle
steer car : drive
