SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND 7

A competition to compose the best cryptic clue, judged by your fellow contestants.

You may enter as many clues as you like and everybody is welcome to have a go.

Please feel free to either explain your clue if you think it will help or ask another setter to parse their clue.

Everybody who enters may vote for their favourite clue - please include the post number but please refrain from commenting on entries until voting has begun.

The entry with the most votes wins and its composer sets next week's competition.

Please post your clues by noon Sunday 13th July, when voting opens - deadline 8 pm that evening.

The setter has a deciding vote in the event of a tie and may change the rules if necessary.

It is customary for the setter to award an online prize when declaring the winner.

The answer to be clued this weekend is:

LOVE (4)

Have fun.
