3) There is a hop variety called "Bramling Cross".

Found this, but in the article it refers only to medieval times ??? .... The "conner" tested the ale by pouring some upon a bench and sitting on it

Have you worked out the hop varieties ...... it seem to be " Goldings and Fuggles " I haven't finished all the clues yet, but if you disagree please let me know.
