1. Has said to be a lot of nonsense. 7 Letters
2. Two out of three components.....5 Letters
3. .....of little boys, so it's said. 6 Letters
4. Park nail in front of barrier. Keeps out the neighbours. 11 Letters
5. Two bloomers from the inventor...4 letters
6. ....of a medicinal compound. 4 letters (Possibly Lily?)
7. Half of forty or forty eight. You'll still get it. 4 letters

Just realised I don't know what a snip is. Perhaps it's 'slips' which would fit the garden theme better.

2&3 Slugs and Snails (and puppy dog's tails), from the nursery rhyme.

5&6 Lily (the) Pink, a recording by The Scaffold from the 1960's. [Scaffold = 3 Liverpool poets one being "Mike McGear", brother of Paul McCartney of that parish.]

Have you finished or do you have letters for the other?
