Are your letters right in the last clue?

FAGGED seems a good answer but not in the order you have them.

The only words I can find in the order you have them are

Fagend - An end of poorer quality, or in a spoiled condition, as the coarser end of a web of cloth, the untwisted end of a rope, ect.

Hareld - The long-tailed duck.

lagend - goods (or wreckage) on the sea bed that is attached to a buoy so that it can be recovered

Tabard -herald's coat.
