Hi, I have two clues that I can't seem to figure out the answers for:

1. Name English railroad beside Ring Lake (5)

Answer: E _ R _ L

2. Lets deer inside semi-nice, empty rooms (8)

Answer: _ H _ R _ E _ S

Any help appreciated :)

Many thanks to both of you for the quick replies! I am a bit rusty on cryptics and had forgotten that "ring" can mean "O". Also, I didn't even think of a deer being a hart.

Thanks again :)
