Hello and Welcome PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY THANKS I have set this for your pleasure,THEREFORE no individual answers are required.

OBJECT of the Puzzle/ 6 clues 6 answers/When you have all 6 answers take the first and last letter of each answer to make the final anagram. Happy solving.

A deadline of 7:00 pm is set to allow others to have a go,after which post at your leisure.

1) Other half to make changes and say nothing (5/3)

2) Plays Backgammon and adjusts to new position? (5/1/4)

3) Records attempt to bring hanging (8)

4) Sensational play from singular pawn and queen (8)

5) Come to see, eye thus getting less inflamed ? (5/2)

6) Mark's taken in by fool's mate (10)

The final anagram Is a 2 word answer!

Hi imagcq, hope you're now well on the way to full fitness. Good to see this new version back on Mondays although surprise, surprise I'm on another one (over a week now) so later in the week most likely. Hopefully, this week, cheers.

I've been helping a friend with her garden this afternoon so I've only just looked in.
I can see #3 at the first read through.

Thanks for looking in everyone. I was called away about 4 oclock and have only just got in.

Jazzgirl you are correct 4 should indeed be 7 letters.( I had a nagging feeling that i had got something wrong)

As this is the first time no one has posted the answer I am going to let it run awhile (Aristo might want a go)
and as its the last day of the holidays some people may not have seen it.

The real object of the puzzle is to identify the final anagram. ( To do this, it is not always necessary to answer all the questions)

So having said that Jazzgirl if you want to post your answer then please do!

Long shot based on 6 letters I have : (probably totally wrong ) !! Can you confirm it is two 6-letter words before i post ?
