Hoping this new thread doesn't upset anyone.........

I'm stuck for inspiration in the top right so am hoping that one assist will spur me on to better things :

6A - Sweep across area before meeting pleasant southern stars (4, 9)
C??? ???R?N???S

Apart from this area I have done the rest save for these two on which I hopelessly am stuck :
24D - "Sweet" cheese dish unfinished - revolting (9)
M?L?D?O?S
&
26D - One buried in watery grave (7)
S?R?O?S

As usual, some, any or possibly all of these letters may be erroneous.

26 Serious - grave. 'Watery' is 'serous', add an 'i'/one.
24 Melodious, sweet. Mel(t) [cheese dish] and 'odious', revolting.

Thanks for these, especially the parsing which always lets me down - "inspired guesswork" tends to be my M.O.

Is everyone stuck at the top?

6 Coma Berenices, a constellation. I'm useless at parsing, but it has 'comb', sweep and 'nice S', pleasant southern.

Very Impressive.

Honestly, I've never heard of it, so am doubly grateful.

Now I'll go & try the remainder

Malone,

Thanks again - I have now polished off the remaining few so can opt for a quiet morning with Bach.
