Please would someone confirm: Is 7 down BREADWINNER, and what are 21 across and 24 across, and is 17 down FEATHER (7 letters beginning with F and ending in R to do with boxing - "Boxer beginning to feel less heavy with pounds shed", we cannot finish it. 21 across is "Deny entrance to one appearing without leader" and if our letters are correct it is N-A-T- (6 letters, the N being the second N in Breadwinner, the clue for 24 across is "Train crack unit here, not hard" we have R-H-N-E (7 letters, the R being the last R in breadwinner, the H being from Feather (17d, the N being from Platinum (15d) and the E being from Herr (23d. Please help it's driving us nuts! Thank you in advance

Don't have the paper,so can't confirm anything. However- 17d = F(l)ighter. and 24d = Retinue.

please list the clues and number of letters and any letters you may have. it would be easier for me to follow if each clue was on a separate line. i get very confused easily

Thank you Terry, I had FEATHER where you suggest FIGHTER and that was throwing us out, wasnt a bad guess though!
