I enjoyed this. First Eighsome Reels in a while I think?
I don't understand 5.
And I think 25 should say 'two words', which is why I solved it last. Any thoughts, anyone?

Qua (as) r (rags beginning) and anagram of rest

Rate-caps is hyphenated in Chambers so whilst I agree with you Azed usually counts hyphenated words as one rather than two.

Thanks, I've never come across qua = as. Latin I presume.
