Hello all,

I get the Times every day could someone advise me how to tackle the cryptics. I tend to stick to concise but would love to learn how to do the cryptics.

Look at previous puzzles with the answers and try to see how they link to the clues. It does take time, good luck!

Hi annee2343. I am afraid it would take far too long to explain everything on here. I suggest you google "how to solve cryptic crosswords" and you will find many sites and books which can help you. Also, if you read the threads on this site, you will find very helpful parsing of solutions which will also help
