Finally finished this morning. I was stuck on 5d for ages as I had not heard of the alternative name for Heroin so although I had an answer, I could not parse it. I also tried to enter an alternative 4-letter word for a Cormorant in 4d before I realised it was a hidden answer for the African port !. Not up to par this week :(

Thank you, Mr/Mrs Water-carrier! That was quite funny --- and I would never have got it myself: have no TV (or radio) reception from UK around here, with a few exceptions!
