http://www.guardian.co.uk/crossword/howto/rules/0,4406,210643,00.html">Try this one

Alternatively, go to http://www.heraldscotland.com/services/puzzles/crosswords">The Herald website, download past crosswords together with the answers and see how the clues are constructed. You can always come back here with any clue and answer you don't understand and we'll do our best to explain it.

Have a look at http://fifteensquared.net/ (sorry, I don\'t do clever links) which gives answers/reasons/feedback on all the \'top\' crosswords - Grauniad, Indy etc - usually by lunchtime of the same day.

You could always try http://bigdave44.com/faq/crossword-guide/">Big Dave’s Little Guide to Cryptic Crosswords which can be read online or downloaded as a Word document.

I think one of the best ways of learning is by attempting what you can one day, and then check the soluton given the following day, or week, and work out how the answers fit together. If you do the same one often enough, you will soon work out how the setter's mind works ! lol
