Oh you could be right, but please explain how you get that from the cryptic.. I am feeling a bit thick at the moment, probably due to having no heating or hot water and being extrememly cold.. LOL

I was going with shake as a synonym of rock - a bit loose I grant yoiu - with off as unattached. I can't see another word that fits those letters

I hope Anniec won't mind if I stick my oar in. It's rock as in movement; rocking chair,rock the cradle,etc. not the hard stuff that mountains are made out of.
