Quite a nice one this week from the inimitable Neil Shepherd. It shouldn't take more than 45 minutes, then you might be the owner of a shiny new copy of Chambers 11th.

Here's a couple of the better clues:

26A Remove string from press cuttings about person accused of crime (7)

20D Chaste saint tucked into meat (6)

If you solve these please don't post the answers here straight away as there may be some readers who haven't yet finished this puzzle.

John. Remove "string" from "press cuttings" and you get the answer - suspect (an anagram).

20D is veSTal.

Yes, I already finished it yesterday morning. I thought that they were the best clues from the whole puzzle and were worth a mention.
