Not sure if it is in all editions but 8d in today's ST (Surprised as I am to say this, not once did I excel (13) is incorrect. In fact the solution is 4,1,5,3...I have the answer if needed( unless of course I have gone completely made!)

Thank you -I download the ST xwords from their xword club, and they give there 8 d as an eight letter word - same clue.
