Hi, can anyone help with my last three clues please? The other 97 were fairly easy! The answers are all bridge-related terms. Example "Please an ensemble (4)" Answer SUIT.
1) Now, she's my wench (7)
2) The transsexual didn't (7)
3) Personally even more important than the Director (7)

just guessing ...but could..
1. squeeze
2. stayman

Could 3 be partner?

Many thanks Poppy. I am 100% with Stayman, and I also like squeeze. Thanks also AJT, partner is a distinct possibility although I wonder why Director is mentioned in the clue.
