Happy New Year everybody.
Anybody doing this quiz ? Stuck on these.

Ah, two of the easier ones.

A 'lien' is a right to hold property against a debt.

The phrase 'From here on in' means that we are going forwards in time.

I should have mentioned they are CRYPTIC clues.
Alien is a film, but I don't see the connection with the clue

And rather smugly (ah, some of the easier ones eh!?) explained the seocnd!

And of course I have now checked the defintion (knew it was a right to hold property) and discovered it is the right to hold against a debt.
