Old name given to White -topped waves (8,9)

Genevieve is an old name for a white topped wave, it could form part of the answer.
Sorry can't be more helpful.

adding to the post from mrw, Jennifer is a variant of Genevieve. probably irrelevant but thought it worth a mention.
