Stuck on a few - any help greatly appreciated.

27d. Pharmaceutical supplier giving a representative Christmas broadcast. 6 letters

26d uncut ?

27d. ampule.

26d. may well be COUNT. (hard to see where you get the 2nd "u" in uncut).

Maybe Terry ..... I was just going by the sequence of letters, but still couldn't justify uncut !

Could it be .... UN (United Nations) and cut ?

group of countries = un
reduced = cut

Your guess is as good as mine. My logic was- original number = count/of countries reduced = count.
We'll have to wait and see what (if anything) RL says.
