why two?

I went for air.
twa ( in catwalk)is the Scottish version of two,

AIR would be the solution to enter, which
obviously sounds like AYR (is heard).
It looks as if there was a Scottish reference
in 24's clue, which probably would lead to
"TWA" (Scottish for "TWO").
